ExpoBadge T180S Butterfly Badge Features no Adhesive Backing Reducing Waste
As per users' requests, the ExpoBadge T180S series was created to complement the ExpoBadge 260 product range. Unlike the 260S, the T180S badges do not have adhesive or backing paper, leaving no residual material besides the badge itself. This also makes them more suitable for self-service kiosks, simplifying folding and resulting in a cleaner printing environment without any waste. Additionally, the T180S is made of recyclable paper and is designed with a specially developed inkjet coating for optimal performance. The badge format is 96.5 x 82 mm with a white border around the edges, as printing from edge to edge is not possible. It is necessary to maintain a 1.5 mm margin around the badge to ensure the Epson ColorWorks printer works properly. While the 260S uses a GAP detection method, the T180S uses a black marking. The badges are also designed with optimized perforations to minimize strain on the cutter blade. However, cutting after each badge through the thick paper will accelerate blade wear over the long term.
